Doing fun nails for the mom's birthday today! 

Ok, so I am not very good at doing my own nails, in fact most of the time they come out like a 5 year old did them. But I try, and enjoy it. Today we were all meeting for our mom's birthday dinner and I wanted to have a fresh mani.

I thought I would try a pink, white, silver combo. I didn't have a pink that I liked so I mixed a, what I like to call Barbie pink, and white together to make the pink I wanted. Did you know that nail polish on a Styrofoam plate melts the plate? Huh. Neither did I. Needless to say, after mixing the two colors together the plate started to bubble and the Styrofoam started sticking to my polish brush! It leaked through onto the coffee table. The Styrofoam started to solidify on the brush...it was a mess. I pressed on. I did 3 nails in the pink combo, one white and one silver. I added white polka dots with a toothpick to one of the pinks. Overall though, I like the way they came out.
